The Padstow to Rock evening water taxi service opens for Summer 2012
The popular taxi boat service has started service for another summer, helping people enjoy both Rock and Padstow on their holiday on the north coast of Cornwall.
Every evening, from March to the end of October, the boat takes visitors from one side of the Camel Estuary to the other so they can try the selection of restaurants on both sides of the river.
The boat runs between Rock and Padstow from about 7 until midnight, giving you plenty of time in whichever village you are visiting. There is no need to book, as the boat will be making the short journey regularly for the whole evening.
The Rock Water Taxi is ideal if you are staying at the St. Enodoc Hotel in Rock and want to try out some of the many restaurants available in Padstow. Whether it’s Rick Stein’s famous Seafood Restaurant or some Italian cuisine at Rojanos, there is plenty to choose from. Then when you have eaten, stroll back to the harbour to get the next boat back to St. Enodoc’s.
St Enodoc is a classic seaside hotel offering a comfortable and stylish holiday in one of Cornwall’s most desirable locations.
