Falmouth and the Roseland Peninsula on Cornwall’s South Coast
The Fal river estuary bordered by the Roseland Peninsula to the West, Falmouth on the East and Truro to the North forms an area which is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Cornwall. Truro is the principal town of Cornwall with an impressive cathedral and historic centre now a bustling place of shops and restaurants.
Falmouth is at its heart a working port with large ships arriving for repairs and yards producing multi million pound yachts and motor boats. In recent years a new university has added to the town, it has a lively and interesting atmosphere with cafes, bars and great seafood restaurants.
