There is a fabulous open-air swimming pool for you to enjoy. It is not heated but great fun in a wet suit if you are not so brave !
The cheerful kitchen/dining-room.
This lovely cosy sitting-room has a multi-burner for any cooler evenings.
The sitting-room with its comfy sofa and chairs.
The private patio is sun-drenched - the gateway leads down to the swimming pool.
The second sitting-room is spacious and ideal for children to play in......
......and has a door right out onto the fully enclosed, private patio.
The kitchen/diner also opens out onto the patio.

There is a really large family bathroom with bath and shower.

This is the huge, fully enclosed terrace for guests' sole use. Gates from the private parking space lead straight into the courtyard so unpacking is easy.
Orchard Dene is the cottage in the background. The gated steps lead down to the pool from a really large and private sun-trap patio behind the wall.
The cottage fronts onto the little village road, parking is to the left-hand side, and from there you can go straight through to the patio.

The King's Arms is just along the road and offers great food.
The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!
The church is at the heart of this pretty village.
The pretty market town of Bideford.
Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

This detached, family-friendly house offers a cheerful kitchen/diner, a sunny summertime sitting-room/playroom and a further sitting-room with a multi-burner, making this a cosy retreat for autumn holidays too.
